An ABA initial assessment is a comprehensive evaluation conducted by a qualified behavior analyst to gather information about an individual's behavior, skills, and specific needs. This assessment is typically the first step in developing an individualized treatment plan for someone receiving ABA therapy.
Early Intervention is a science-based approach designed to support young children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or behavioral challenges. It focuses on improving communication, social interaction, and daily living through individualized, play-based programs. Our team utilizes a family-centered approach to ensure success for the entire family.
In our ABA clinic, our therapists utilize structured teaching methods like discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching strategies, and task analysis to systematically teach and reinforce specific skills. Our clinical team specializes in providing one-on-one ABA therapy tailored to the individual needs of your child.
We currently have immediate availability for our clinic space in the Flagstaff/surrounding areas.
Our therapists use structured teaching procedures, such as discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching strategies, and task analysis, to systematically teach and reinforce targeted skills.
Parent training is an essential component of ABA therapy that involves educating and coaching parents or caregivers on the principles, techniques, and strategies of ABA to effectively support their child's development and behavior at home and in various settings. Our clinical staff focus on training and skills important to each individual family.
Our clinicians provide individualized consultations that include expert guidance, support, and treatment recommendations. Our behavior analysts focus on skills that benefit the individual, family, caregivers, educators, or organizations seeking assistance in addressing behavioral challenges, developing skills, or implementing behavior analytic strategies. We work collaboratively with all parties involved to support the family's success.
Our in-school support involves the application of behavior analytic principles and strategies to promote the success and inclusion of students with behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, or special needs within the school setting. Our support focuses on providing a collaborative introduction to ABA principles for academic staff provided by our clinical team including behavior analysts and therapists. Our therapists work one-on-one with your child to support success in the school environment.
At Kaibab Behavioral Services, we provide training to equip parents, schools, law enforcement, and community partners with practical tools to better support individuals with autism and behavioral needs. From classroom strategies and paraprofessional coaching to parent workshops and first responder training, our goal is to build knowledge, increase confidence, and create safe, supportive environments where children and families can thrive.
At Kaibab Behavioral Services, we know that challenging behaviors often occur when a person does not yet have the skills—or the motivation—to use more effective alternatives. Our approach is to identify those missing skills, teach them in practical ways, and help individuals stay motivated to use them when it matters most.
We provide services where they are needed most: in homes, schools, communities, or through telehealth. Our goal is to support children, teens, and adults in their natural environments, rather than requiring them to come into a clinic.
By Need
We serve individuals of all ages and diagnoses who can benefit from learning new skills and reducing challenging behaviors. Services are available regardless of race, gender, identity, or ability, as long as eligibility and funding criteria are met.

By Location
Our services are primarily focused in Northern Arizona, including Coconino, Yavapai, Mohave, Navajo, and Apache counties. Requests from other areas of Arizona are considered on an individual basis.
Our services are most effective when those who naturally support the individual—parents, caregivers, teachers, or direct support staff—are present and actively engaged. Our role is not to act as classroom assistants, babysitters, or direct care workers, but to teach strategies and transfer skills to those who are with the individual every day.
An exception may apply for older teens or adults who do not have regular support persons but are motivated to independently follow a behavior plan.
